Otto is a Badass. One eye and just a straight up badass. He had that shit figured out real quick. When did you rough them up? Yesterday. Lost his eye. Doing time. It’s a hard life for some wife beaten to death. Maybe it’s better, that way he never found out Bobby was hitting it. That secret will die with Luann. Maybe. Probably not though.
That porno chick sold Jax out real quick. Didn’t even have to twist her arm.
Clay is vicious. He is trying to run it like the Bonnano family. You can’t run the club like the Bonnano family. It won’t work. The club is too democratic. Cara cara was a club decision. That means it is under the clubs discression. Gotta be a vote.
Jax and Clay in the chapel. I would say it is pretty far off track, to challenge your brother to kill you. That was heavy. These two still have a lot to work out. And the fallout will land on the members.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw Hale in the clubhouse. Deputized. And how about Happy. That is one sick individual. He has a look in his eye like he is for real. That was tight blowing up the lab with a Molotov cocktail. Like Clay said, Happy will know how to persuede.
Opie is on another level. All I can say is he is my new Hero. That judge was tough as nails. Would have given up his kid before the memories. Zobelle has got to get it sooner than later. You can’t spread yourself that thin and stab everyone in the back and keep on living. Some one will get you. And Tig has taken a turn for the worst. That was him crying in his mask. Killing his brother’s wife is taking it’s toll on him.
I know it couldn’t have been Clay burning down Cara cara. At least I don’t think so. I knew Darby didn’t have long for this earth. But what happened to Chuckie?
Jax going Nomad? The machine is falling apart. Some body is going to have to pull them out of the water and save the day. Glory. Hallelujah.

Piney is gonna be the voice of reason that keeps Jax in the club. I think the brothers are going to start coming together (with or without Jax’s knowlegde) and put pressure on Clay to ease up. Gemma is starting to develop a conscience, which will cause in a lot of information coming out. Opie seems to be leveling out mentally now that he’s got Lyla in his life.
Incidentally, I thought it was Opie crying in that mask after the judge told him to kill the kid. He saw what a crappy father the judge was, and decided to never be like that. That’s what I thought anyway.
Oh yeah, and Chuckie will come out of the woodwork at the last minute before a big blowup between Jax/Clay, and announce that he saw Zoebelle’s guys tearing up CaraCara.
By Chief on November 4th, 2009 at 8:59 pmYou have to hand it to Kurt Sutter he knows how to twist the plot to keep us all biting our nails. There are some surprises left untold, some key clues that will be revealed at the right time in my opinion. And Bobbi leaning towards Jax made even Tig and the guys to look past the fight between those two, the way i see it is that the gang is now trying to help them both for the good of the club. It is logical that Jax won’t go Nomad because is a TV series and he has to stay in it :). But i am very curious of how and who will make him change his mind
By Tchorben on November 5th, 2009 at 6:05 amWorking from the outside ? Will Jax become the Grim Reaper himself ? Will there be more Happy hour ? And what of the old and wise ? Okay it’s about stupid ” I’m hooked ” . . .
By Bonehead on November 6th, 2009 at 11:41 pmLotsa deep **** going on in the latest episode, huh? Darby had his coming, and I kinda figured Zobelle was going to be the one to give it to him. Gonna be interesting to see Jax’s reaction when Darby’s body (and Chuckies?) shows up in the ashes of Cara Cara…but I kinda think that Chuckie is gonna show up alive and well and start spilling what he saw.
I like Bobby, but tappin’ Luann while Otto was in the joint…man, that just ain’t right.
And I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be Clay when Opie finds out that he ordered the hit on him and killed his wife by mistake…I wouldn’t want to be Tig, either. Opie is turning into a cold-blooded killer, and he is NOT one to be on the wrong side of.
Should be interesting to see how all this comes together, what with the club hanging together by a thread now as it is…
By Traveller on November 7th, 2009 at 9:34 pmStahl told Bobby while he was in jail that she made Opie look like the snitch and that Clay, when going after Opie, killed Donna by mistake. So it is unbeliveable that Bobby doesn’t connect Jax’s dead wife references to Donna’s murder.
By Road Toad on November 8th, 2009 at 9:50 pmBob,
Catching up on the blog, been off the FOB for a few(Afghanistan is one ugly country). Sorry to hear about your father, I hope he’s doing better. You are dead on, in my opinion, as to what is happening to the club. With all the layered deceit going on and no one to come clean to the guys are tearing themselves apart and in turn the club. Bobby is starting to catch on about the **** between Clay & Jax, you could see it in his face when Jax & Tig were talking. I think either he or Gemma will be the one to start getting the truth out of everybody. Opie is the f**king KING, he’s still mixed up and has a lot of stuff to work through but, WOW, I like his road to recovery….Lyla is BANGIN’!!
By Chief on November 9th, 2009 at 9:54 amOne other thing, Chibs is a Scotsman, not Irish.

Eighty-Deuce on the loose!!
Hey Bob,
First off, I hope your dad is doing better.
I had to watch the last episode twice to try to see things from your point of view, and in the end, I gotta say, I agree with you. Tig is falling apart, Opie is definitely the man (and I think he’s also starting to realize that SAMCRO knows something about Donna’s death), and the whole thing with Jax and Clay is getting so intense that something needs to happen, and in a big way.
I do find it hard to understand just how Zobelle can target whatever the “hot topic” is of a particular episode (last week being Caracara and Darby’s little operation). Do you think it’s feasible that someone is playing both sides of the fence? Not necessarily like the Club thought Opie was…. well, yeah. Kinda like Tig and Clay thought Op was?
As for Jax, do you think everything he is going through emotionally is because of Abel, coupled with his father’s manuscript, and his knowledge of Donna’s death is affecting the way he’s looking at the Club? Or do you think that something like this is in his nature; that he’s just not interested in running it like the Bonnano family?
I look forward to reading your point of view on this, and I gotta say, I look forward to your take on each episode almost as much as I look forward to the episode itself.

By Tommy Toolz on November 9th, 2009 at 11:28 amHey Fat Bob, I was wondering if you have heard anything about how actual MC members feel about the show, especially clubs labeled as 1%. Being a 1 tier member, I think the show is awesome, but wouldnt Real 3 tier clubs get pissed that the sons wear top and bottom rockers? just a thought…
By El Diablo- Cronus MC on November 9th, 2009 at 11:42 amThis is a great show. I ride but not with a club like this one. Do love to see how they stick together. FX could do us a favor and run a few less commercials. They are ruining the flow of the show.
By Ron on November 11th, 2009 at 8:09 amThe shows awesome, loved the episode last night except for one thing… I think we all agree that the crazy amount of commercials kinda ruined it, couldn’t even get focused on what was going on caus every 6 or 7 minutes they ran about 5 minutes of commercials. C’mon FX, don’t be doin that to your viewers.
By Josh on November 11th, 2009 at 10:40 amRight with you Ron, last nights 90 minute show was half commercials! But I’m glad Gemma finally came clean, think it’ll help the guys get their **** back together, did you catch Jax grabbing his patches on the way out? Knew Nomad wasn’t going to happen for him. I don’t get why nothings been said about Darby and Chuckie’s bodies in the warehouse (Caracara)- it seemed obvious that Zobelle wanted Darby in there to pile more **** on SOA’s plate, but the police haven’t mentioned finding bodies at all, seems odd. Loved the scene of Half-sack tripping in the mud pit, histerical. Can’t wait for next week.
By Ali on November 11th, 2009 at 11:36 amDon’t know who the other chief is but what’s up, Hoss?
Just finished ep 10 and all I can sayis it’s about time they start to move forward, even if it’s only a little. The Irish are headed for some hot water, I just hope is doesn’t blow back on Chibs. It is time to do a little a$$-kickin’ in the name of SAMCRO on soome white separatists. Gemma finally telling the truth was a long time coming, Jax and Clay will put their crap on the backburner until this is through.
Diablo, to answer your question- go to Kurt’s website at sutterink and read the blog about Sonny’s 71st. 81 seems to be cool with it, they understand that to present the life accurately the clothes must be accurate also. To quote from the blog, “It’s a soap opera, but it’s OUR soap opera.”
By Chief(afghanistan) on November 12th, 2009 at 8:48 amJust watched number 11 twice. The most exciting episode yet. Definately don’t want it to end. Man, it’s too bad there are only 13 total. Got any inside info on what’s gonna happen in the last two? Love the 90 minute episodes. In my opinion, this is the best thing to happen in TV land in years……
By Jimmyzshatteredmirror on November 17th, 2009 at 10:53 pmJust finished watching last episode. Just some thoughts. First Piney. He seems the kind of guy that would have tried blowing Clay away a long time ago. That is one down to earth TCB kinda guy. While everyone else is standing around wondering what to do he drives a truck through the building. And to save Tig of all people.
By KED on November 17th, 2009 at 10:57 pmTig was cool because nothing seemed to bother him. He was just one twisted individual. Now he seems to have gotten in touch with his womanly side. I’m not going to say I don’t understand it or anything but its making me vomit.
Happy on the other hand is bad ass. I wonder why he is not the Master-at-Arms. I cannot make up my mind if I would like to see him in the show more or not. If the have him in more he might start to get touchy feely as well. Its just nice to have good bad guys that are true to form.
Bobby on the other hand seems to have more going on up stairs. He watches, he listens, and just when you have forgotten he is there he spills it letting you know he has put it all together.
Half-Sac, oh my god. Rather than Bullsh..ing and living it up with women he should be watching the bikes or something. I like him and all but he is given too much freedom.
Other charters should not just appear, they should play active roles from time to time. You should actually get to know individuals from other charters who show up from time to time. Maybe even have one of them turn out to be an undercover agent or something.
Alvarez is not bad enough. You want him to be bad, and smart. When Bobby said “you might want to rethink that move” he should have said “fine, I’ll shoot him instead” shoot Half-Sac, then break all their legs and send them all on there way. With how he played that I’m wondering who might be looking to take over from him seeing weakness. I think that whole rival club needs to have its own cadre of players. They are way too abstract, and so far have been way too much of pushovers. Make them the rival they should be.
Yes they made bale, yes the video was crap, yes nobody wants to talk, but lets not forget they were carrying illegal automatic weapons. That doesn’t just dissapear.
I realize a lot is going on right now but eventually Luann’s killer is going to show up in a ditch somewhere. That is not forgotten.
So much deception, so little trust. Its a wonder the club can hold it together at all. When suddenly all seems ok, everyone just seems to be getting along, then in comes Piney with his service pistol, my hero of the show. I have to admitt that where I like the plot twists I get somewhat tired of the hint of action and the eventual let-down.
So much to say, so little time, gotta go but like I said, just some thoughts.
Hi FB! I check your blog everyday and look for your latest installment. I am missing you and your insight, hope nothing has happened to your Dad. Just wanted to know the time it takes for you to post is appreciated. Ride free and be safe…
