Hey folks. I gotta say sorry for not writing for a while. I had a family emergency and I had to fly back east. My Father took ill and I thought it was the end and I wanted to be near him. He is a tough old bird though and he pulled through. If you think the show is big in California, well let me tell you it is crazy big on the East Coast. Almost every where I went some one had a Sons shirt on.
I think Tevo is a great invention. When I got back my old lady had all the episodes I missed and I sat down and relaxed and watched them back to back. She must have been watching them non stop cause she knew every word.
I don’t know where to begin, there is so much going on. It is obvious that Gemma is not telling what happened, Now comes the reactions to this decision. There is a lot of violence happening that might not be happening if she told the club about the rape. You can see this is taking it’s toll on her. I am hoping every week that she is going to blow somebody away for what happened.
And how about the Irish, playing both sides. I never saw that coming. You know that is going to end bloody. And how about Polly, Zobelle’s daughter. When she comes on the screen all the guys in my house start screaming. Beauty and brains. Tough too. I was pretty surprised when she gave up the where abouts of her dad so quick. Although she knew they were going to walk into a trap. All the women seem to have some power.
Speaking of women, when Gemma and Tara were shooting up the porn stars car my wife and the other wives were dancing in a circle. Nice, a little something for everyone.
I like Chibs a lot. He is always on the money. When he got blown up that was tragic. I am definetly hoping he pulls through. He is an awesome part of the club. I love his Irish logic.
When they ran up on the house they thought Weston was at, and the kids were firing guns back, that is called training. Those kids had balls. He had Jax cold, if there were bullets in that gun there would have been another funeral.
Hale is sure jumping the fence. Jax too. I think in a small town like that, a real cop would easily pick the evil he is accustomed to, and not let a new one in. This guy Zobelle wants to bring drugs into the town and then try to get them out again? That is some kind of logic. Once drugs come in it is virtually impossible to get them out again. Just look at any town in America. You se the Sons know that and are willing to go the distance to keep drugs out of their town. I think that’s cool.
I definetly did not expect to see a church meeting when the Sons charged into that church. And when they came running out into the hands of the law I would have liked to se them resist at least for a minute but that is the outlaw in me. The truth is in California if you point a gun at a cop you can bet they will not hesitate to blow you away. That’s just how it is.
In all the years I have been in the club there is nothing I haven’t seen. Every situation that I watch on this show reminds me of something that happened in real life at one time or another. It has been a long time since I am really looking forward to getting off work early, rushing home to relax in front of a warm T.V. and watch my favorite show. I think my Old Lady is addicted for sure. I think every day equals addiction. It’s not so bad though, she could be addicted to worse things. At least we get to enjoy this addiction together. Can’t wait till next week.

You’ve touched on some great highlights of the show. I feel the addition too. I can’t wait to see how they will top season 2 episode 7. What a rush!
By Mr. Motorcycle on October 27th, 2009 at 2:34 pmSorry about your pop, I am glad he is doing better.
I am seeing the men in the club get pulled in different directions and last night was the first time I could see Tig pull away from Clay. He is in pain about Donna and to have Clay doubt him was rough.
Bobby is shining as the smart one…he is making the right decissions without knowing the whole story.
I am the only one in my circle of family/friends who watches Sons so I look forward to reading your blog to get another persons take on the show.
I see Gemma telling the truth about the rape to bring Clay and Jax to a common enemy. How ironic that Gemma helped that little girl talk about her rape so she could heal, but she can’t talk about her own and seek help. Having been in the situation I can related to Gemma’s pain and confusion on how to handle it.
This show is so well written and acted you completely forget it’s a show until those dang commercials come on. Thank god for DVR.
By candee on October 28th, 2009 at 6:49 amthis is the best action drama show fx has put since the sheild! great casting and script.i guess everyone was so caught up in the drama they forgot all about tig and his bond he jumped in another state!i take it they never herd of a (NO BOND HOLD)?
By X-RIDER on October 29th, 2009 at 10:17 amI LOVE THIS SHOW,but i really hate to see that the ab would go against other whites, but then they arent for whites anyway, just money.I think the club should be run by jax, dont agree with jax not telling opie who killed his wife.U dont go after your bros that way first off.
By clayboy on October 29th, 2009 at 12:20 pmYou’d think with all the killing, explosions and mayhem that the town would be under heavy surveillance and samcro would be hamstrung. But nobody seems able to tie the plot of the show back together. If the show does’nt get its act together soon, someone needs a beating.
By Highball on October 31st, 2009 at 11:00 amSorry about your Dad being sick…glad it is going better for him. You are a great guy to go back and spend time with him. My dad is really getting up there in years as well and I am really enjoying any time I get to spend with him. It shows you have your priorities intact and that makes me respect you even more. Thanks for your insights into the show. I think inbetween season one and two I missed your blogs almost as much as I missed the show. Keep riding and writing!!
By RandyM on November 1st, 2009 at 5:56 pmWell, just watched Potlach. They are falling apart at the seams…speaking of which what the heck is that rickrack sewn on Bobby’s vest for crying out loud?
Just when I thought Gemma had a broad in training, Tara sets down some boundaries. You have any idea the time and money involved in becoming a hospitalist? Didn’t think so. She is stuck, and that family is not going to be making much money with the med bills rolling in over the next two years. She needs that job for certain…loved her comment.
Really saw the death of Luanne coming. They are scaling down the very large cast. Otto is written out, which is too bad they had to do that. I would have liked to seen more on that end.
Crikee…are we looking at dang near the end of the series already?
By InsaneJane on November 1st, 2009 at 9:50 pmBob, sorry about your dad.Hope he feelin better. I love this show at first I was the only one watchin it and had no one to talk to. Found out one other lady at work watched it also and we started talkin’. She is not someone who I thought would watch. From all our excitement in the staff room on wednsdays. We have all the elementry techers watchin’. I have to agree with you when I first started watchin’ brought back memories of old stories I’d here. at first I was shocked and wondered who was talking.Living in the same California valley as the show is created makes it fun for us locals. And when I run across old friends I have rode with we all have a good time sharing our take on the episodes and predicting what may happen the next week
By Livin in the valley on November 1st, 2009 at 11:30 pmHi,
Just wanted to say, I am so glad you are back and that your father is doing alright. I look forward to your blog every week, just wanted that out there so you will know that your time to do this is not wasted, and it is indeed appreciated.
By Theresa on November 2nd, 2009 at 9:12 amHi Bob,
By Valkrye on November 3rd, 2009 at 6:57 amMissed your Blog, Glad your Pops is alright.
Whats your take on Chips wife showing up….Is she part of the Irish
Connection? For Gemma to be afraid of her…makes you take notice..
Bobby is stepping up and the only one bringing a voice of reason.
There’s nothing like this disease eating them up from within while
the Nords sit back and laugh…Zoebel’s going to regret investing in the Mayans and it was a shock to see that they took over the 9er’s
house. Where’s LeRoy? Can’t wait for each episode. The suspense is
killer. Kudos to the writers.
Hey Bob,
By Joe Leyendecker on November 4th, 2009 at 12:15 amThis is the first time I have ever “Blogged”. Sorry if it shows. I just wanted to say that this is THE best program I have seen that I didn’t have to pay for. Kurt Sutter’s the man…. Just saw Fa Guan, can’t wait till next week!!!!!!!
